Steven Kay started designing toys when he was 6 yrs old. With formal training in photography, sculpture and design, he founded The Orb Factory in 1991. Paul Higgins (MBA), brought his passion for entrepreneurship & international business to the operation in 1994. The company’s first line was based around the Celestial Orb, a transforming hand-held widget made from wire.

Steve and Paul know they have made it this far by focusing on the 2 most important things: a fun and rewarding play experience for kids, and the best customer service in the industry. Their toys are now sold in over 40 countries, have won numerous awards and have become a recognized and trusted name in the toy industry.

Sales have grown from just under $3 million in 2008 to over $12.5 million in 2011.

We have worked with Steve & Paul for most of the 20 years in measuring and financing share value in addition to assisting his senior leadership team with strategy.
